About Shekinah Gloire Pagay Dinauto an artist Student and A soon-to-be Hybrid Animator

“A children’s story that can only be enjoyed by children is not a good children’s story in the slightest.” – C.S. Lewis

From a young age, my curiosity about the world was evident. Born with an inquisitive mind and a deep-seated passion for discovery, I spent countless hours exploring the wonders of science at first. This early fascination led to a strong academic focus in the sciences, where she excelled, driven by a desire to understand the intricate mechanisms of the natural world.

However, beneath this scientific rigor, another passion quietly brewed within me—a love for art and storytelling. This interest was initially sparked by her early encounters with the mixture of 2D and some 3D animated films and illustrations. The magic of bringing characters to life and the power of visual storytelling captured her imagination. What started as a hobby gradually grew into a profound calling.

So, balancing my love for both science and art, I began to experiment with drawing and animation, blending the analytical mind with a creative spirit. The attention to detail required in scientific study translated seamlessly into her artistic endeavors, even making her own styles. I have found joy in the precision of animation and the expressive freedom of art, realizing that these two fields complemented each other in ways I had never anticipated. I loved drawing the nature around me from a young age, trying to try and draw out a poodle to environments and plants, including humans too.

Determined to pursue this newfound passion, I decided to pivot my career path. I have enrolled in animation and arts programs from a young age till now, where I have honed my skills and developed a unique artistic voice. My background in a love for science provided a unique perspective, allowing me to approach animation with a fresh and innovative mindset. My works began to reflect a fusion of scientific curiosity and artistic expression, creating pieces that were both intellectually stimulating and visually enchanting and whimsicle at the same time.

My journey from science to art was not without challenges. It required courage to step away from a well-defined path and embrace the uncertainties of a creative career. Yet my unwavering faith and determination guided me through this transformative period. I have now found solace and inspiration in my Sabbath Christian faith, which became a cornerstone of artistic expression. There will be works and other often explored themes of spirituality, faith, and the beauty of creation resonating deeply with audiences in the future, Lord willing.

Today, my portfolio is a testament to the unique journey, showcasing a harmonious blend of science (like plants, flowers, birds, etc.), art, and faith. So by God’s grace, I would be willing to continue to inspire others with her story, proving that it is possible to follow one’s heart and forge a path that aligns with both passion and purpose.

My journey (a student for now) is a shining example of how diverse interests can converge to create something truly extraordinary. Through art, I would want to see the world through Jesus Christ’s lens—one that embraces both the wonders of science and the boundless possibilities of imagination.
